Hindi lang pasiklaban na pampaaliw sa basketball fans kundi slots para sa national team ang magpapaanghang ng mga aksyon sa three-game 29th PBA All-Star Game bago matapos ang buwang ito sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.
Sinabi kahapon ni national coach Chot Reyes na bago pa ang Semana Santa ay daily training na ng Gilas Pilipinas para sa April 26-30 All-Star Weekend at sa 12th SEABA Men’s Championships sa Smart Araneta Coliseum sa May 12-18.
Susulong ang All-Star Week sa Cagayan de Oro sa April 26, Lucena sa April 28 at Lalu-Lapu sa April 30 tampok ang Gilas at PBA selections.
“We’re hoping, we’re expecting a competitive All-Star game. First of all, the players are gonna be playing before their home town, so I’m sure they would want to perform well and secondly, it’s gonna be the first game of this group of Gilas so we expect people to go all out.
More importantly, this is really going to form the basis of the final lineup for SEABA, so we’re going to see who performs best, who is able to run the system, who plays well together and that’s why we’re going to have three different rosters,” litanya ni Reyes.
