Dumating kahapon si Bosnian middle blocker Edina Selimovic, isa sa da­lawang reinforcements ng Pocari Sweat na isasabak sa Philippine V-League (dating Shakey’s V-League) 14th Season Reinforced Conference sa May.

Sasalang agad sa training ngayon ang power-hitting at dating Little Rock Trojans standout na si Selimovic para sa Lady Warriors.

“She (Selimovic) will be a big addition to our team as we try to shoot for a third championship in the PVL,” wika ni team manager Eric Ty.

Nag-reyna ang Lady Warriors sa Reinforced at Open Conferences noong nakaraang season.

Isa pang import ang hinihintay ng Pocari Sweat pero hindi sinabi kung sino.

“She’s an American outside spiker and like Edina, she will be an important piece of the championship puzzle for us,” ani Ty.

Bagong miyembro ng Pocari sina former NCAA Finals MVP Jeanette Panaga ng Saint Benilde, Jessie de Leon ng Santo Tomas at ex-Ateneo star Fille Cainglet Cayetano para punan ang pagkawala ni team captain Michele Gumabao.

Ang ibang Lady Warriors netters ay sina Myla Pablo, Elaine Kasilag, Desiree Dadang, libero Melissa Gohing at former Far Eastern University setter Gizelle Sy.

Bukod kay Gumabao, wala na rin sa lineup si Fil-Am Iris Tolenada na bumalik sa United States para mag coach sa school team.

Si Rommel Abella ang head coach ng Pocari.

Makakatapat ng Pocari Sweat sa season-opening conference ang lima pang teams kasama ang koponan ni volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez na Creamline Cool Smashers.
