Wanted: dancers para sa 'King and I' Ilulunsad muli ang ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel) ngayong Lunes. The only 24-hour news channel in the Philippines, ANC has recently joined forces with news organizations Business Mirror, Business World, Philippine Star and Newsbreak, with many more partnerships being forged. According to Maria Ressa, Head of ABS-CBN’s News and Current Affairs Group, this pioneering partnership will make ANC "the ‘hub’ of Philippine news". A power line-up of new anchors and new programs will work side-by-side this latest breakthrough. On K, Korina Sanchez goes behind the headlines to show the many sides of Filipinos here and around the world; political rivals Chiz Escudero and Mike Defensor head butt on Square Off; Manolo Quezon makes issues more accessible using blogs, the internet and text messaging on The Explainer; Cheche Lazaro goes onboard via Media Focus, where she brings her insights to analyze Philippine media’s landscape. They join ANC’s existing roster of journalists, among them, Dong Puno, Ces Orena-Drilon and Ricky Carandang. *** Broadway Asia Entertainment is looking for excellent, young, athletic dancers who can sing and who can be part of the musical production King and I for its Asian tour. The production is in need of six male and six female dancers who are in their late teens to late 20s. They must be strong modern dancers. Knowledge of Thai dancing is a plus. Dancers must be prepared to dance bare foot. Interested parties should bring resume with photo, heeled-shoes as well as flats and must be ready to dance.
